Our History

Hi! I'm Brian Reich, founder of CCG Labs.

CCG Labs was founded in February, 2026. While the name is new, our experience in the industry runs deep. From 2003-2018 we were Reich Web Consulting. Life happened. I took a job for the man for health insurance and gave up my company.

6 years of having a boss was plenty. But it taught me a valuable lesson: I do my best work when I've got agency, influence, and a direct relationship with my customers.

I thrive when I'm working directly with customers, being of direct service to others, and having the autonomy to ensure our work aligns with our values.

Welcome to CCG Labs, an agency and code foundry built on a pretty simple concept:
Our work should be enjoyable and leave the world better than we found it.

How We Use AI

If you have fears, anxiety, and reservations about generative AI... we're right there with you. We don't know what AI means for our tribe, the world of programmers. We don't have confidence that world powers will solve for the environmental impact of AI, or the social and economic impact it will unleash.

But it's here, it is being shoved down our throats, and you know what? It's actually kind of good.

And so: CCG Labs unapologetically uses generative AI to get the job done faster, but also better.

At CCG Labs we will never just "do an AI" in our products when a traditional solution will do just fine. You don't need AI involved when the user's answer is a SELECT statement away.

Our Commitment

  • Token Consumption We seek ways to reduce token consumption at every turn.
  • "Anti-Slop" Validation We use tools such as hooks and CI/CD workflows to validate and avoid "slop." When we notice "slop" we enhance our project/system prompts to avoid it going forward.

Working With Us

We prefer to build our own ideas. But if you have a project you need help bringing to life, and your vision of the world is similar to ours, reach out. We might just help.
