Where We Come From

Twenty-three years in the making

Hi, I’m Brian Reich, founder of CCG Labs. The company was founded in February 2026; but the experience behind it goes back to 2003.

  1. 2003–2018 Reich Web Consulting (My 1st Company) Fifteen years of direct client work across Central Pennsylvania and beyond. Projects ranging from marketing websites to a full automation of print on demand facility processing millions of dollars of orders daily.
  2. 2018–2026 Engineering Leadership Lead organization in modernizing and professionalizing their SaaS team. Lead software team in securing and modernizing legacy codebase. Learned management, leadership, and how to operate effectively up and down the org chart to "get s#!t done."
  3. 2026– CCG Labs An agency built on a desire to execute with ethics. First we understand each other, then we build with the right amount of technology the solution demands.

Our core value: execute with ethics

You need to know what you stand for before you make a stand. Two decades of building boiled down to these six values, and they steer everything, from who we will (and won't) work with down to how we write code.

    We spend most of our waking hours at work. We should enjoy most of them. As they say, we're here for a good time, not a long time. If we're a good fit, let's make the most of it. If not? No harm, no foul.

    We do our best work for clients who trust us as expert advisors, not "code monkeys." That trust means making good technical decisions, spending their money wisely, and holding firm when a standard shouldn't bend.

  • Honesty & Integrity

    If we're not doing work that aligns with our values, what the hell are we even doing? We do what we say, say what we do, set clear and honest expectations, then work our butts off to beat them.

  • Simplicity

    We strive to implement the right solutions to the right problems. The right technology for the problem, not technology for its own sake.

  • Cost-Conscious

    We prefer smart, sustainable solutions that don't break the bank over throwing money at problems.

  • The Environment

    We prefer solutions with a lower environmental impact than their alternatives.

Where We Stand on AI

Unapologetic, but disciplined

If you have fears, anxiety, and reservations about generative AI... we’re right there with you, brother. But it’s here, it’s being shoved down our throats, and you know what? It’s actually kind of good.

So CCG Labs uses generative AI unapologetically to get the job done faster, but also better. We won’t just “fire the slop cannon” at a problem a traditional solution will solve just fine.

We limit what we consume, and we offset the AI carbon we do spend by planting trees on our farm in Central Pennsylvania.

  • We don’t just “do an AI.” You don’t need AI involved when the user’s answer is a SELECT statement away.
  • Anti-slop validation. We use tools such as hooks and CI/CD workflows to validate and avoid “slop.”
  • Token discipline. We seek ways to reduce token consumption on every project.
  • Carbon offsets. We offset the AI carbon we do spend by planting trees at the founder’s farm in Central Pennsylvania.
